Job Description Hospital Executive Role

We are seeking an experienced Medical Practitioner to join our Executive team and lead the provision of quality services within our Medical Services Division.

The Chief Medical Officer (CMO) as a key member of the Executive team, will contribute to the alignment and achievement of strategic objectives contained in the current BRHS Strategic Plan.  The CMO will be responsible for ensuring effective clinical governance, the provision of leadership, support and mentoring to direct reports and the development of positive relationships with Visiting Medical Officers and Specialists.

You will be a strategic thinker, have the ability to foster collaborative working relationships and a genuine desire to progress rural health services.

To be successful in the role you will have the interest, capacity and enthusiasm to lead the development of a growing and changing medical environment. 

This role is being offered in a part time capacity however a full time position may be negotiated if there is a desire to be clinically involved in an area of need at BRHS.
